A 6”x6” double layer quatrefoil and square cartouche composed of wooden shapes enrobed in brilliant orange and gold marbled flame peacock paper. Each of these cartouches is embellished with an approximate 2.5” diameter antique Japanese Kutani plate that has been hand painted with a tiny flying bird (please note tiny chip on plate that has been gold leafed).
All cartouches are hand-crafted in our studio with each layer gilded on its edges, and finished on the back with complimentary paper.
Lime green silk roping with tassels is added for hanging.
